We’re searching for a Junior Digital Production Specialist to support high-volume digital and MarComm production for a major web initiative based St. Paul, MN, on-site 4 days a week. This is a 6 month contract role with the option to extend.

About the Role

This Junior Digital Production Specialist role is all about precision, scale, and consistency. You’ll play a key role in preparing and optimizing imagery that fuels large-scale web and app experiences—supporting nearly 1,000 pages, including the launch of hundreds of new pages and the refresh of existing content.

Approximately 70% of the work is focused on high-volume image sourcing, resizing, and optimization for web delivery. The remaining 30% supports infographics and production design assets using established brand standards, icons, and typography. This is a hands-on production role ideal for someone who loves pixel-perfect execution and keeping digital experiences running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Source, resize, crop, and optimize large volumes of image assets for web and mobile app placements
• Prepare imagery across devices and screen densities (desktop, tablet, mobile)
• Ensure assets meet specifications for resolution, aspect ratio, color profile, and file format
• Perform detailed image quality control to ensure accuracy, sharpness, and brand consistency
• Optimize files for performance through compression and formatting without sacrificing quality
• Validate assets against creative specs, placement requirements, and delivery checklists
• Manage asset versioning, naming conventions, and handoffs
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing partners to troubleshoot asset issues
• Support updates, re-exports, and fast-turn changes under tight deadlines

What You Bring

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop
• Solid understanding of image resolution, DPI/PPI, RGB color spaces, and compression techniques
• Experience preparing assets for responsive web and mobile app environments
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong visual QC skills
• Ability to manage high asset volumes efficiently while maintaining accuracy
• Familiarity with CMS or app delivery pipelines
• Strong portfolio of production work

Nice to Have:

• Experience with design systems or component-based asset libraries
• Knowledge of accessibility considerations for digital imagery
• Familiarity with DAM tools and agile production workflows
