About Opportunity

Our client—a fast-growing, innovative Birmingham-based company—is hiring a Corporate Development Accounting Analyst to support its accelerating expansion. This is not a traditional accounting role. You’ll sit at the intersection of accounting, finance, and strategy, playing a key role in evaluating acquisitions and shaping the company’s long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the corporate development team to evaluate acquisition targets
• Build and refine financial models, forecasts, and pro formas
• Analyze financial performance, trends, and key metrics for potential deals
• Prepare clear reports and presentations for executive leadership
• Support due diligence and integration planning for new acquisitions
• Work across accounting, finance, and operations to ensure smooth post-acquisition transitions

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)
• 1–3+ years of experience in public accounting, transaction advisory, or corporate finance
• Strong Excel and financial modeling abilities
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
