What you will do

As a Big Data Engineer, you will be part of a team delivering data processing solutions for clients in the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors. You will work on both real-time and batch data processing projects using Big Data technologies. Our portfolio includes building and developing Data Hub/Data Lake solutions for a major telecom operator and one of the world’s largest social media companies.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office – depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. Requirements

• Experience working with Big Data technologies and a strong willingness to learn new tools and cloud technologies
• Solid knowledge of SQL, including PySpark and Spark SQL or other ETL solutions
• Understanding of Big Data concepts or data warehousing
• Proficiency in Python for data transformation tasks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international, interdisciplinary team
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

• Familiarity with Airflow
• Experience with cloud-based technologies
