Job Title: Healthcare Data Entry Specialist

Location: Bloomfield CT – Hybrid (MTW Onsite, ThF Remote)

Duration: 5-6 Months Contract

Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Claims Data Entry / Analyst to join our Coordination of Benefits (COB) Competitive Intelligence Team.

This is a non-clinical role focused on data accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The role involves entering medical claim data, reviewing records, and assisting with process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter medical claim information from forms and EOBs into professional and facility databases.

Ensure data accuracy and meet monthly productivity targets.

Perform quality reviews and correct errors in manual and electronic records.

Respond to audit feedback and complete corrections promptly.

Collaborate with COB Analysts, IT, and management on data projects.

Participate in process improvement initiatives for COB data mining and analysis.

Follow compliance, ethical, and company policies.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

2+ years in medical claims, health insurance, or medical coding is a plus.

Knowledge of medical claim forms, EOBs, and COB preferred.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Outlook).

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Training & Work Model:

1–2 week onsite training / ramp-up period.

Flexible hybrid schedule after training: MTW onsite, ThF remote.
