What you will do

The Big Data & Analytics Platform (BDAP) program is a comprehensive, multi-year initiative designed to establish and operate our enterprise analytics infrastructure. The program predominantly utilizes Microsoft Azure components and is deeply integrated into our broader enterprise environment.

Additional key features of the program include advanced tools like Databricks, RStudio, Alation and more, which serve to enhance and expand our data analytics capabilities.

How you will get the job done

• managing deployment automation of Azure PaaS/SaaS services within the context of a Big Data & Analytics platform
• carrying out automation of configuration validation and re-establishment to comply with IT security requirements, and ensuring platform stability
• implementing end-to-end solution automations for the complete machine learning lifecycle
• conducting root cause analysis of complex issues reported by the support team
• active supporting of the Product Owner and Solution Architect for further product development

Requirements

• fluency in English
• 4+ years of experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer
• hands-on practice when it comes to using Databricks and familiarity with Unity Catalogue
• exceptional skills in IaC development using Terraform/PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Ansible
• robust Azure networking skills, including VNets, Hub & Spoke architectures and connectivity between Azure and on-premises
• knowledge of Azure technologies (Data Factory, Kubernetes Services, Event Hub, SQL Server, Data Lake Store, Blob Storage, Power BI, Entra ID)
• good understanding of various Azure technologies in accordance with IT security requirements
• high level of commitment and flexibility regarding task assignment, coupled with a willingness to tackle a variety of complex tasks
