We’re looking for an experienced Bluetooth Low Energy Expert to join our team as a freelancer immediately. If you have a strong commercial background in BLE, IoT, and mobile development (iOS, Android or Flutter), and you can independently implement BLE solutions in real projects, we want to hear from you.As a specialized software house, we work on innovative IoT solutions for top-tier clients like Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh. This is an opportunity to work on a high-impact project where your deep BLE knowledge will be critical.Our next project in this area is kicking off in January/February, so we’re starting the search now to bring the right person on board in time.Who we’re looking for:Proven commercial experience with BLE – deep understanding of communication protocols, peripheral connections, and troubleshooting.Strong mobile development skills – expertise in either iOS (Swift, Core Bluetooth), Android (Kotlin, BLE APIs) or Flutter (Dart, BLE packages).Experience in IoT – working with connected devices, sensors, and embedded systems.Solid knowledge of Unit Testing and best practices in mobile development (XCTest, Quick/Nimble for iOS; JUnit, Mockito for Android or Flutter test frameworks).Familiarity with concurrency and performance optimization for BLE applications.Fluent English (B2+) – written and spoken.Nice to have:Experience with Bluetooth 5+ and advanced BLE features (Long Range, Mesh).Previous work in IoT security and encrypted BLE communication.Understanding of functional reactive programming (RxSwift, Jetpack Compose, or Flutter’s reactive state management approaches like Riverpod/Bloc).Knowledge of Google Play/Android Auto, Apple MFi programs, or Flutter’s app distribution and integration processes.What we offer:Fully remote and flexible work with core hours between 10:00 and 18:00 CET, with some client meetings scheduled up to 20:00 CET (approx. 2 per week).Competitive freelance B2B rate (15-30k net, depending on experience).The chance to work on a cutting-edge IoT project with a highly skilled team.A clear and fast recruitment process.Recruitment process:Quick screening call with HR (45 min).Technical interview with live coding (max. 90 min).Final feedback within a couple of days.If you’re a BLE pro and ready to jump into an exciting IoT project right now, let’s talk! 💡
