Part-time Mobile Growth Engineer (React Native / TypeScript) Location: Remote (EU-friendly time zones) Engagement: Part-time / B2B Industry: Travel & Leisure / Consumer Mobile App Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced React Native Growth Engineer to join a product-focused team working on a fast-growing consumer mobile application in the travel and leisure sector.This role combines hands-on mobile engineering with a strong growth and experimentation mindset. You will work close to the product, owning features end-to-end and actively contributing to initiatives focused on user activation, retention, and engagement.About the ProjectThe project is a consumer-facing mobile application operating in the travel and entertainment space, designed for a broad, international user base. The product emphasizes discovery, engagement, and repeat usage, with a strong focus on experimentation and data-driven product decisions.The team operates in a lean, startup-style environment, prioritizing fast iteration, measurable impact, and close collaboration between engineering, product, and design.Responsibilities Build and iterate on mobile features using React Native and TypeScript Own implementation of growth experiments (A/B tests, UX iterations, feature rollouts) Collaborate closely with product and design on hypothesis-driven development Analyze product and user data to inform technical and product decisions Ensure high performance, stability, and quality of the mobile app in production Take part in release cycles for iOS and Android (builds, CI/CD, store releases) Proactively identify areas for improvement in user experience and conversion flows (Optional) Support analytics, tracking, or lightweight backend integrations Requirements 3+ years of commercial experience building production mobile applications Strong hands-on experience with React Native and TypeScript Proven experience working on consumer-facing or product-led applications Solid understanding of mobile performance, app lifecycle, and debugging Experience collaborating closely with product managers and designers Ability to independently own features from idea to production Strong product intuition and interest in growth, experimentation, and metrics Very good command of English (written and spoken) Nice to have Experience with A/B testing, feature flagging, or experimentation tools Familiarity with mobile analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase, Amplitude, similar) Experience working in startups or small, fast-moving product teams Basic backend or API integration experience What’s Offered Part-time engagement with flexible working hours Fully remote collaboration with an international, product-oriented team Monthly budget: $1,500 – $2,000 USD, depending on experience and availability High ownership and real influence on product and growth outcomes Long-term cooperation potential
