Location: Melbourne, Florida (Local candidates only)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Network Engineer with expertise in SONET equipment and optical circuits. This position requires hands-on experience with telecom transport infrastructure and familiarity with the provisioning and testing of a variety of circuit types. Candidates must be located near Melbourne, FL.

• • Minimum 3 years of experience with SONET equipment and Optical Circuits

    • Platforms: ONS-15454, Fujitsu Flashwave 4500/9500

  • Strong understanding of the following:

    • Gigabit Ethernet / Fast Ethernet

    • DS1/T1, DS3, VT1.5, VTV, STS1, STSV

    • OC3 to OC192 circuit types

  • Familiarity with provisioning and acceptance testing processes for the above circuit types

  • Background in telecom transport

  • Ability to read and implement design documentation

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with TDM (Time Division Multiplexing)

• Previous telecom provisioning background

• Familiarity with FTI Network or another large-scale carrier network (e.g., AT&T, Verizon)

• Knowledge of Cisco ONS-15310 platform
