The Junior Quant Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions with a focus on building systematic trading strategies, backtesting, and deploying successful trading tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, contributing to back-end and software development tasks, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and collaborating with team members. Regularly, the engineer will also assist in troubleshooting and optimizing system performance.QualificationsThe ideal candidate:Thrives in complex problem-solving and analytical challengesHas strong knowledge of statistics, calculus, and quantitative methodsBrings a creative and structured approach to systematic tradingCan write efficient, production-ready MQL5 codeHas basic working knowledge of Python, SQL, and ExcelIs familiar with Git, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and general system design principlesHolds a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related disciplineCompensation and benefitsFull remote position with (limited) room for flexible hours.
