What you will do

• Together with our international team, you will work on the development of modern open source frameworks and tools such as J2E, microservices, Docker, SQL, Kubernetes (Openshift is a plus), Maven and reverse proxy technologies (e.g. Apache, Nginx)
• You support the design of new innovative features in collaboration with product owners, business analysts and other stakeholders and contribute to their implementation
• You will be proactively involved and actively support the implementation and further development of standards
• Your area of responsibility also includes the creation of technical concepts and documentation
• Stay up to date on new technological developments and best practices

Requirements

• We look forward to your successfully completing your studies in (business) computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable courses
• Ideally, you already have initial experience with Java and development environments such as Maven, Git/Subversion and Jenkins
• You are familiar with concepts such as DevOps, continuous delivery, clean code, TDD and agile methods
• Technology: Java, Microprofile, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgresql, Kafka, Jmeter, Rest Services, Quarkus
• Platform and Hosting: AWS -> EKS, RDS, MSK, Redis, EC2, Secret Manager
• OS: Linux any distro
• Methodology: Agile development
• Project management tools: Jira, Confluence
• You are characterized by a very analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking
• You work independently and approach problems proactively
• Very good communication skills English round off your profile - German is a plus, but not mandatory
• You're open to a hybrid way of working with weekly visits in our Katowice office.
