We’re looking for an experienced data professional to take ownership of our Azure-based data platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, automating, and optimizing cloud data infrastructure that supports global analytics and data science initiatives. If you’re passionate about scalable data solutions, automation, and cloud governance — we’d love to hear from you.Your tasks Administer and optimize Azure Databricks and Snowflake platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and governance Design and manage Azure Data Factory pipelines for batch and streaming workloads Implement and maintain RBAC, access controls, and data governance standards Automate workflows and platform operations using Python, PySpark, SQL, and PowerShell Monitor platform health, performance, and costs; apply FinOps principles for optimization Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, maintaining documentation and runbooks Collaborate with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to enhance platform efficiency Ensure compliance with security, audit, and governance best practices across global environments Requirements At least 5 years of experience in data platform engineering or administration Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and ADF Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and scripting (PowerShell/Bash) Solid understanding of Azure services (ADLS, Function Apps, Key Vault, Networking) Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) and automation Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM) Strong grounding in data governance, security, and cost management Exposure to incident management tools and Agile delivery environments Very good communication skills in both English and Polish Residing in Poland required Nice-to-have requirements Experience with FinOps, audit/compliance frameworks, and regulated environments Knowledge of DevOps practices for data engineering Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence) Microsoft Azure certifications (DP-203, AZ-204, AZ-104, AZ-305)
