Based in Katowice, this role will serve as a subject matter expert and lead analyst, focused on defining, implementing, and validating RBAC models, improving IAM workflows, and ensuring compliance with access governance policies. This position does not involve performing day-to-day provisioning or lifecycle management. Instead, the Lead IAM Analyst will propose and oversee enhancements, provide subject matter expertise, and partner with engineering, IT, and compliance teams to strengthen identity controls using platforms like Okta, Active Directory, and Zilla.Responsibilities Lead the development and refinement of IAM policies, standards, and processes, particularly around RBAC and access governance. Define and validate role models across systems and ensure alignment with business functions, least privilege, and compliance needs. Provide oversight and subject matter expertise during IAM workflow design and implementation. Recommend improvements to provisioning, deprovisioning, and approval workflows; work with engineering teams to ensure integration follows best practices. Drive access review strategy and validate compliance with internal policies and external frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, SOX, NIST). Serve as a liaison between technical teams and auditors for identity-related control testing. Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and reporting frameworks for IAM governance. Support the mentoring and development of junior IAM analysts or other cross-functional team members involved in IAM. QualificationsRequired: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in IAM, access governance, or IT security roles. Demonstrated leadership or senior-level experience in an IAM analyst or IAM governance capacity. Deep knowledge of Okta, Active Directory, and access governance tooling like Zilla. Experience implementing and managing RBAC models, identity workflows, and access review processes. Strong understanding of IAM principles, including least privilege, separation of duties, policy enforcement, and entitlement management. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or SOX. Preferred Skills: Prior experience leading IAM-related projects or serving in a governance-focused leadership role. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret access patterns, identify risk, and recommend controls. Experience contributing to audit readiness and access certification processes. Knowledge of identity federation protocols (e.g., SAML, OIDC, OAuth). Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across technical and non-technical groups.
