Our client, a globally known sports and entertainment brand, is looking to add a Network Engineer to their team. The work will be primarily done at the stadium in Arlington, with the flexibility to work at other sites as needed (2 Frisco locations visited at least once a week, more as projects require) and support events that are held nights and weekends.
They just completed a refresh at the Arlington location of their entire switching infrastructure and will be moving on to refresh the 2 Frisco locations soon.
This person NEEDS to be comfortable moving around a lot, not just sitting at a computer for most of their day. This is an exciting but also at times physically demanding position so you need to be interested in something like that.

The Network Engineer will be part of a dynamic technical team that supports, secures, and maintains the organization's multi-site network. This individual should have experience with the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of complex network systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide support for network issues, may include cable troubleshooting, network connectivity testing, etc., as needed prior to escalating to senior-level engineers.
- Perform Cisco route/switch configuration and troubleshooting
- Create and update documentation, may include network diagrams and data flows
- Perform network maintenance tasks, including software upgrades
- Assist with rack, stack, and cabling of new equipment
- Assist with event support as needed (Weekends, Nights)
- Monitor various platforms for any incidents/alerts that may be assigned
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years Cisco Network Experience
- CCNA Required CCNP ideal
- Ability to troubleshoot IP and cabling/Layer 1 issues
- Experience with Routing Protocols: BGP, EIGRP
- Design, deployment, and operation of complex enterprise networks
- Switching and configuration options (VLANS, HSRP, DHCP, NAT, etc.)
- NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS experience
- Meraki experience
- Physical plant and cabling experience; Fiber plant experience
- Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA center)/SDA/ISE experience is a plus
- Cisco Secure Network Analytics/Stealthwatch experience is a plus
- SolarWinds experience is a plus
- Cisco Firewall ASA/Firepower/FTD experience is a plus
- Cisco Wireless experience is a plus
- Cisco Collaboration (UC) experience is a plus
- Provide Event related support to supplement the current team
