Requirements description

• 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong hands-on experience with manual testing, with exposure to test automation
• Experience testing APIs and backend services (e.g. REST)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Practical experience using Jira and Xray (or similar test management tools)
• Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
• Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of testing tasks
• Good command of English (B2 level or higher)

We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer to support the quality assurance process across backend services and user-facing components. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers, contributing to both manual and automated testing activities.

This role suits someone who already has solid QA experience and wants to further develop their skills in test automation, API testing, and Agile delivery.

Your responsibilities

1. Perform functional, non-functional, and regression testing of complex software applications
2. Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
3. Create reusable and maintainable test scenarios, including API-level testing
4. Validate backend services and integrations to ensure smooth interaction with frontend components
5. Manage and maintain test cases in Xray (Jira integration), ensuring traceability to requirements
6. Identify, document, and track defects in Jira, collaborating closely with developers on resolution
