Requirements description

• Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience building RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

• Passion for AI technologies, with exposure to large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), or prompt engineering considered a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows, version control systems like Git, and containerization with Docker for seamless development and deployment processes.

Your responsibilities

1. Design, build, and maintain Python-based microservices supporting Klarna’s AI-driven internal tools, including Rejection Bot, Appeal Bot, Timeline Bot, and future LLM-powered platforms.
2. Integrate seamlessly with internal APIs (e.g., PTX, Decision Store, OSIS) and third-party systems such as Kiki, FullStory, and Slack.
3. Monitor system performance and user experience using observability tools like Datadog and Langsmith, focusing on key metrics such as latency, error rates, and customer satisfaction.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Data Science, Legal, and Customer Service—to deliver scalable, compliant, and user-centric AI solutions.
5. Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based workflows, automated testing, and adherence to microservice design principles in a high-velocity development environment.
