Requirements description

• ~5-10 years of total IT experience, with 6+ years of dedicated ServiceNow platform expertise.

• English B2/C1

• Deep experience in at least four core ServiceNow areas (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD).

• Strong foundation in architecture principles, technical design patterns, and platform scalability.

• Demonstrated ability to guide teams on configuration over customization while maintaining business alignment.

• Expertise in scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and integration protocols (REST, SOAP).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, update sets, and automated testing tools for ServiceNow.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise systems (AD, SCCM, APM tools).

• Strong bias toward low-code/no-code platform configuration.

• Promotes long-term maintainability over short-term fixes.

• Enforces coding and design quality through strong governance.

• Excellent communicator and mentor, able to guide both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experienced in working within global delivery teams and client-facing engagements.

Certificates:

Your responsibilities

1. Own the end-to-end architecture of ServiceNow implementations across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, and other modules. Design ServiceNow solutions with a configuration-first mindset, minimizing customizations to align with out-of-the-box capabilities and upgrade resilience.
2. Define and enforce coding best practices, naming conventions, performance guidelines, and code reusability standards.
3. Review and approve solution designs, scripts, and integrations to ensure technical quality and platform integrity.
4. Provide architectural oversight during feature releases, including clone planning, data integrity validation, and instance strategy.
5. Lead governance for platform standards across environments (dev/test/prod) and ensure adherence to change management processes.
6. Create and maintain high-level and low-level technical design documentation.
