Requirements description

• Strong experience with KDB / q language, including tick architecture and writing performant code.
• Test-Driven / Behaviour-Driven Development experience, with a focus on specification-based testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; understanding of market data, trade data, and basic statistical concepts.
• Ability to query, analyze, and combine very large datasets efficiently.
• Experience with all aspects of SDLC, including build automation, deployment, and support.
• Experience in at least one other programming language (OO or functional) is highly valued.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Appreciation of diverse perspectives and using differences to improve decisions.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented KDB / FX eTrading Analytics Developer to join our Global FX eTrading MI and Analytics team. Our platform captures, stores, and analyzes over 3TB of data (5 billion records) per day from multiple FX electronic trading venues, as well as internal pricing and trading data. This team is the golden source of MI for quants, sales, and trading, supporting quantitative research, backtesting, analytics, and regulatory reporting.

You will work in a global team with colleagues in Hong Kong, London, and Poland, collaborating closely with quants and execution teams to develop high-performance solutions.

Your responsibilities

1. Develop and enhance key components of the Global FX MI and Analytics platform.
2. Collaborate with quants and electronic trading teams to implement fit-for-purpose solutions.
3. Design and architect scalable data access, feeds, and analytics solutions.
4. Implement API-based functionality and contribute to common tools and components.
5. Automate metrics, builds, and testing processes to ensure high reliability.
