Requirements description

• Technical degree in Computer Engineering (BE/BTech/MCA)
• 4+ years of professional experience with Oracle eBS
• Strong knowledge of Oracle databases (12c/19c)
• Proven experience in eBS migrations from version 12.1 to 12.2 (at least one project)
• Minimum 3 years managing PROD 12.2 environments as an Apps DBA (administration, cloning, monitoring, patching, etc.)
• Ability to install and maintain Oracle databases in Linux/UNIX environments
• Experience managing Oracle Middleware (WebLogic)
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and RMAN
• Familiarity with Unix/Shell scripting
• Experience with external system integrations (sFTP, SSL, etc.)

Your responsibilities

1. We are looking for a seasoned Oracle Applications DBA to join our Apps DBA team, responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing our Oracle E-Business Suite (eBS) environments and Oracle databases.
2. This is a highly technical and operational role offering opportunities to participate in migration projects and continuous infrastructure improvement initiatives.
3. Maintain and support Oracle E-Business environments (PROD and non-PROD)
4. Manage database and application backups
5. Handle Data Guard, application cloning, and Disaster Recovery procedures
6. Monitor systems daily using tools like SolarWinds and Oracle Enterprise Manager
