Requirements description

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of data modelling concepts, metadata management, and data governance.
• Experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into data structures.
• Experience mapping business processes (current vs. future state).
• Practical knowledge of BPMN and UML.
• Good understanding of SQL and working with relational databases.
• Experience with systems integrations and designing data flows across complex IT landscapes.
• Understanding of regulatory or clinical workflows (or willingness to learn them quickly).
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making through analysis.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/SAFe).

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to support the development of a large-scale regulatory and clinical data platform. In this role, you will design and govern the core data model, ensuring consistent metadata structures, clear entity relationships, and reliable data lineage across the ecosystem. You will enable interoperability between systems, maintain regulatory data integrity, and support analytics, automation, and full end-to-end process visibility. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong data architecture expertise with an understanding of regulatory and clinical workflows.

Your responsibilities

1. Design, maintain, and evolve the platform’s data model, including metadata structures and entity relationships.
2. Ensure data quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance across integrated systems.
3. Define and govern data standards, naming conventions, and documentation practices.
4. Map current vs. future-state processes and align the data model with business and regulatory needs.
5. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and structured data designs.
6. Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, and product teams to ensure seamless system interoperability.
