Position Overview

Assists with patient care in the support and supplementation of the circulatory system. Such care includes performance of elective and emergency cardiopulmonary bypass, cardiac and respiratory assist, diagnostic measurement, and autologous blood salvage.

Primary Department, Division, Or Unit:

Cardiovascular Surgery, UHS Wilson Medical Center

Work Shift And Schedule:

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range:

$72.10 - $108.15 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Minimum Required:

• Bachelor’s Science Degree OR meet the requirements to be grandfathered by the NYS Office of Professions/NYS Department of Education with an active Perfusion license.

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree in Perfusion

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• Must be eligible for the NYS Department of Education Perfusionist license.
• Certified Clinical Perfusionist through the ABCP or eligible
