Position Description

A Postdoc Fellow position is available at The Yeh Laboratory at CSHL Cancer Center ( Genes & Development (2022) 36:1031-1042.; Genes & Development (2023) 37: 1-17). For this open position, the project direction will be focused on continuing developing and validating novel TPD molecules to target undruggable proteins. The Yeh Lab is a highly-collaborative environment with state-of-the-art facilities and expertise in biotherapeutics engineering and chemical biology. We feature multidiscipline approaches to tackle scientific questions. The Yeh Lab also engages in several close collaborations with other research groups at the Cancer Center. This postdoc fellow will be part of a new Chemical Biology initiative at CSHL and will enjoy the highly intellectual and collaborative interactions at CSHL, including accessing CSHL conferences on cutting edge scientific discoveries.

PhD candidates expecting to complete by 2024 are encouraged to apply. Candidates with expertise in organic synthesis, peptide/ natural product/macrocycle chemistry, or chemical biology related to medicinal chemistry are highly desired.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION: Successful applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a life science or chemistry discipline at the time of appointment.

Experience/Skill: Expertise in organic synthesis, macrocycle and peptide/protein chemistry or chemical biology are strongly desired. PhD candidates expecting to complete their degree in 2024 are encouraged to apply. This postdoc fellow will also be part of a new Chemistry for Biology initiative at CSHL.
