Opis stanowiska

What you will do

  • establishing and maintaining processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
  • ensuring adherence and adoption of Munich RE’s project management methodology – ‘MR Essentials’
  • defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities
  • defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party
  • outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget
  • preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities and managing delivery of the project according to this plan
  • tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders
  • managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and/or budget, in accordance with approved authorities and change processes
  • identifying and mitigating potential risks
  • managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction

Requirements

  • fluency in English and business German
  • university degree preferably in Computer engineering/IT, Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences or similar qualification
  • 3+ years of experience in delivering IT or digital projects preferably in Financial Services or a regulated industry
  • advanced business knowledge about asset or investment management processes and a good understanding of the technical asset management infrastructure is an asset; ideally familiar with our core system SimCorp Dimension
  • successful coordination of project deliverables
  • ability to manage project costs and budgets to agreed baselines
  • organizational skills and ability to coordinate the efforts of others involved in the delivery of projects, including negotiating deadlines and commitments
  • ability to work globally across businesses and international cultures to deliver results
  • ITIL, Scrum or PMI certification
  • proactivity and high problem-solving competence
