6+ years of professional experience as a QA Automation Engineer in a modern software development environment, Strong experience with C# / .NET, Solid knowledge of REST APIs and API testing strategies, Hands-on experience with BDD, with a strong preference for automation over manual testing, Deep understanding of the Test Pyramid (unit, integration, E2E), Ability to identify and justify appropriate test levels (Unit vs Integration vs E2E), Experience refactoring, improving, and rewriting automated tests, Experience running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines, Hands-on experience with SpecFlow / Reqnroll, Working knowledge of SQL, Experience working in Agile environments, Experience in the payments domain or working with PCI DSS–compliant systems, Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and LocalStack, Experience with performance and non-functional testing, Knowledge of testing highly available, scalable, business-critical systems
