10+ years of professional software engineering experience with enterprise applications backed with RDBMS databases or Snowflake, 10+ years of experience as a Database Architect or in a similar role supporting enterprise applications, Extensive hands-on experience in RDBMS and distributed data platforms as a database developer, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot and resolve database related issues, Proficiency in SQL performance tuning in MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake, Strong track record of building high performance, production quality software on schedule, Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes, Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, Expert experience with hardware sizing and configuration, operating systems, scripting, and database technologies, Experience in NoSQL databases is preferred, Experience with cloud database services such as Azure SQL Database or AWS RDS is a plus, A minimum of 7 years working with an Agile development methodology strongly desired, Experience with developing applications for the financial markets is a plus (Fixed Income, Trading, FX, Risk, Portfolio/Wealth Management, Market Data, FIX, etc., B.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or other technical course of study required. MS degree strongly preferred.
