What you will do

You will join Team PTX within the Sales Rep Tool (SRT) product group, the central gateway between OBI stores and the OBI ecosystem. The SRT is used daily in hundreds of stores across Europe to support store employees throughout the sales journey, from capturing customer leads and planning projects to managing orders and monitoring sales performance.

Team PTX focuses on Planning Tool Integration for multiple product areas, including Bath, Garden and Kitchen. Your work will ensure that store employees have access to a wide variety of reliable planning tools and can export the planning tool output back to the SRT, enabling seamless coordination between customer consultations and order management.

Working in a modern microservice-based, domain separated and verticalized architecture (around 50 services) and a micro frontend delivery model, you will:

• Design, develop and maintain fullstack features in TypeScript using NestJS/Node.js for backend services and Vue.js for frontend components
• Implement integrations with external planning tools and ensure smooth user workflows inside the SRT
• Work with PostgreSQL and DocumentDB (MongoDB) for data storage and retrieval
• Integrate services and UIs with the wider SRT platform via REST APIs and Kafka
• Deploy and operate solutions on AWS in a cloud-native environment
• Collaborate in a Scrum team with advanced agile maturity
• Participate in pair programming, code reviews and team discussions to improve code quality and architecture

Requirements

• Successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field of study
• 4+ years of professional experience as a fullstack developer
• Proficiency in TypeScript using NestJS/Node.js and Vue.js
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and DocumentDB (MongoDB)
• Understanding of REST APIs and microservice integration patterns
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud deployment practices
• Experience in agile Scrum teams, ideally with hybrid or remote setups
• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish
• Bonus: experience with Kafka, basic German skills or retail/in-store tooling projects
• Openness to hybrid work and regular visits in Katowice office.
