Project length: 12 months + extensions.Recruitment process: 1/2 interviews with the client.Project language: English.Industry: banking.Workload: Full-time.The Functional Tester role focuses on ensuring the quality of new and existing features on the Homepage web platform within the Banking domain. This role collaborates closely with the development team to analyse testing requirements and maintain testing integrity.RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyse testing requirements for new features based on business requirements and create relevant test plans and test cases.Keep the team’s testing setup current with software updates and configurations.Collaborate with Test Managers outside the team to ensure comprehensive testing procedures.Participate actively in the refinement of user stories to clarify requirements.Work alongside the development team to ensure adequate test coverage and quality during the development cycle.Manage both functional and technical testing processes during development and before launch.Focus primarily on manual testing efforts.Act as a liaison between developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectations.REQUIRMENTS:Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, Cross Browser Testing, and browser DevTools.ISTQB certification or similar qualification.Proven experience in writing test scenarios in a test management tool and executing test cases.Experience with multi-device testing, demonstrating a 'mobile first' mindset.Understanding of development methodologies such as Scrum/SAFe.Fluent in English, both written and spoken. NICE TO HAVE:Familiarity with Postman, SQL, Optimizely (Episerver), Salesforce and Playwright.net.Eagerness to learn about the Banking domain.Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
