Senior Manager, Product Analytics

Location: New York City (Hybrid, 4 Days Onsite)

Salary: $140,000 to $190,000 base plus equity

The Opportunity

Our client is a high-growth, venture-backed consumer technology company that is redefining a traditional industry through technology, data, and community. Backed by top-tier investors, the business is scaling rapidly and investing heavily in its data and analytics capabilities.

This is a newly created leadership role offering the opportunity to own and scale product analytics within a complex, data-rich environment. You will work closely with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, and Design, providing the insights that shape product strategy and execution.

The Role

As Senior Manager, Product Analytics, you will lead analytics for large and strategically important product areas while managing and developing a small, growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working directly with data while also setting direction, coaching others, and influencing decision-making at senior levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design leadership to define success metrics and measurement strategies
  • Own analytics for high-complexity product domains, from discovery through launch and iteration
  • Build and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools
  • Lead deep-dive analyses to inform product strategy, roadmap decisions, and prioritisation
  • Design, execute, and evaluate experiments including A/B testing and causal inference
  • Communicate insights clearly through presentations, visualisations, and written recommendations
  • Manage and mentor analysts, setting high standards for analytical quality and impact
  • Contribute to the broader data team strategy and analytics best practices

Required Experience

  • Seven or more years of experience in analytics, product analytics, or data science
  • At least two years of people management experience
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data stacks and workflows
  • Experience supporting SaaS, marketplace, or consumer technology products
  • Demonstrated expertise in experimentation and measurement frameworks
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insight
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment
