Clients include Fortune 500 companies from the financial, healthcare, and insurance sectors.The Role:We are seeking a Senior Streaming Data Engineer who will be a key member of the team building the streaming data platform. This is an early-stage startup with plenty of opportunities for '0 to 1' foundational engineering.Tech Stack: Languages: Java (priority), Go, Python Streaming frameworks: Apache Flink, Beam, Kafka Streams, Spark Data technologies: Hadoop, Iceberg, Delta Lake Infrastructure: Kubernetes (multi-cloud and on-prem) Architecture: modern, distributed microservices, hybrid architecture (shared SaaS + customer-owned cloud) Databases: various open-source (traditional and distributed) Responsibilities: Design, implement, and evolve scalable, high-performance data systems Develop key streaming platform components (stream processing, data storage) Test, debug, and optimize systems Requirements: Experience building streaming data systems Ability to write scalable, high-quality code in Java (ideal), Go, or Python Experience with open-source data frameworks (Beam, Flink, Hadoop, Iceberg, Delta Lake, Spark, Kafka Streams) What We Offer: B2B contract (via remote.com) 100% remote Unlimited PTO policy Stock options
