university degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, 5+ years of experience in software engineering or analytical systems development, deep expertise in R and Python, including R package development, development standards, code structuring, testing practices, and performance optimization, demonstrated ability to define and maintain coding standards and development guidelines, especially for R‑based analytical systems, experience designing and maintaining API-based services, especially R APIs, supported by strong software architecture and modular design skills, proficient in CI/CD practices, automated testing, and version control tools such as Azure DevOps or Git, experience working in cloud-based or hybrid environments and familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus, ability to translate mathematical, statistical, or actuarial concepts into robust, maintainable software components, previous knowledge in the (re-)insurance sector is preferred but not required, strong analytical, problem‑solving, and service‑oriented communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in global, cross‑disciplinary teams, proactive and self‑driven working style, taking end‑to‑end ownership of components and independently identifying and proposing solutions
