What you will do

To strengthen our capabilities, we are looking for a skilled Software Engineer (SAP Fiori) to join our international Product team. You will focus on delivering SAP-based general ledger front-ends using SAP Fiori and S/4HANA, aligned with business and architectural standards. Based in Poland, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in Munich and Poland to implement innovative financial solutions.

How you will get the job done

• developing SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and/or SAP CAP
• customizing and extending standard SAP Fiori applications in line with SAP guidelines and best practices
• integrating front-end applications with SAP back-end systems using OData services
• collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
• ensuring applications adhere to SAP UI/UX design principles and performance best practices
• creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans
• conducting unit testing and debugging of SAP Fiori applications to ensure quality and performance
• providing ongoing support and maintenance for existing SAP Fiori applications
• troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Fiori applications, OData services, and front-end performance
• staying current with SAP technologies, including SAP BTP, Fiori Elements, CDS Views, and the latest UI5 libraries
• participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• communicating and collaborating effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, finance teams, and IT professionals, to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are successfully implemented

Requirements

• fluency in spoken and written business English (minimum B2 level) for effective communication with international teams
• several years of experience in IT application development, including front-end design and complex SAP-based implementations
• strong knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5, HTML5, JavaScript, and Java
• experience with SAP BTP, CAP model, OData services, and REST APIs
• good understanding of SAP NetWeaver Gateway, CDS Views, and ABAP for OData
• familiarity with SAP ABAP and modules such as FI/CO
• experience with SAP S/4HANA and modern SAP architecture
• proficiency in Git and version control best practices
• strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• solid grasp of the full software development lifecycle
• ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• team-oriented mindset with a focus on ownership, knowledge sharing, and collaboration
• high level of adaptability and commitment to delivering quality results in dynamic environments

• good understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and financial reporting requirements, as well as experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
