Summary

The Sourcing Specialist Indirect Materials (Americas) has regional responsibility of strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services: professional services, facility- and real estate services including property/equipment rental/leasing, IT, Marketing, MRO etc.

What You'll Do

• Regional responsibility of strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services: professional services, facility- and real estate services including property/equipment rental/leasing, IT, Marketing, MRO etc.
• Responsible for the execution of the regional/global indirect sourcing strategy in line with the global strategy
• Partner with internal customers to identify and understand current and future business needs
• Ensure and lead the global procurement process of competitive bidding (RFI, RFP)
• Lead assigned vendor negotiations and contracting
• Identification and realization of cost reduction potentials for sustainable cost management
• Ongoing analysis and assessment of the procurement markets and development of supplier relationships
• Responsible for the creation of purchase orders (POs) in SAP in accordance with approved requests and internal procedures

Who You Are

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar
• Minimum 5 years indirect sourcing experience within an international business environment and matrix organization
• Sound knowledge of sourcing processes (RFx) and leading contract negotiations
• Strong project – and change management experience
• Experience working independently, taking on responsibility for procurement strategies across all levels of assigned organization
• Sourcing category experience in IT, MRO, Property Maintenance, Real Estate, Marketing and Professional Services.
• Readiness to travel (ca. 10%)
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal communication and networking skills.
• Must be a fact-based decision maker, pragmatic, resourceful, and proactive.

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,000 - $85,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
