Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferably with a focus on eDrive systems, power electronics, or electric machines), Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, including 3+ years in project or technical project leadership roles, Proven background in power electronics, electric motors, driveline systems, and both hardware and embedded software development, Hands-on experience with complex mechatronic systems integrating electrical, mechanical, and software components, In-depth understanding of electrified vehicle architectures, hybrid/electric vehicle operations, and system-level trade-offs, Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in structured problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis), Practical knowledge of ASPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and Cybersecurity standards, Familiarity with safety analysis tools and methods such as FMEA, DFMEA, FMEDA, and FTA, Excellent leadership and coaching abilities, fostering collaboration within multicultural, cross-functional teams, Fluent in English (German or French proficiency is a plus), Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across departments and geographies, Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%) and work flexibly when required
