We are seeking an experienced and motivated System Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering telecom solutions. You will be responsible for installing, implementing and configuring Value-Added Services Systems (VSS) and Online Charging Systems (OCS) for telecom operators. Location: Remote Business Travels: Travel to Sweden from time to time Contract: 12 months with extension Start Date: Flexible – preferable up to one month notice period Salary: 130-150 zł/h Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and implement Telecom VSS and OCS systems for telecom operators, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project requirements. Collaborate with clients to gather technical requirements and translate them into functional configurations. Conduct system integration with existing network infrastructure, including interfaces with core telecom components like HLR, HSS, GGSN and IMS. Perform system testing and validation, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and troubleshooting of system issues during deployment. Develop and execute configuration scripts for system setup, e.g. Ansible. Ensure proper documentation of configurations and implementations for future reference. Provide on-site and remote support during installation and post-implementation phases to ensure system stability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers and customer support teams, to resolve technical challenges. Qualifications: Relevant university degree and experience from technical roles within Telecom and IT industry and knowledge within the following areas: Hands-on experience with implementing and configuring telecom systems, particularly VSS and OCS platforms. Strong knowledge of telecom protocols such as SS7, Diameter, SIP, CAMEL. Experience with system integration in telecom environments, including APIs, middleware, and databases (e.g. Oracle). Experience with Linux based systems. Familiar with telecom networks, architecture, and components such as BSS/OSS, HLR/HSS and core network systems. Knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms (e.g. VMware, OpenStack or AWS). Knowledge of IP network architecture, configuration, integration, load balancing and redundancy. Understanding of security and compliance requirements in telecom systems (CIS, OWASP, NIST or similar). Work Environment: Full-time role with opportunities for on-site deployment at client locations (travel once a month/2 month). Combination of office work and field activities based on project requirements. Flexible schedule to support deployment and critical project milestones.
