We are looking for an experienced Test Manager / Test Lead to join a strategic data transformation program delivered for a global professional services organization operating in the insurance domain. The client supports large-scale insurance platforms and complex data ecosystems for international markets.This role is fully remote and focused on leading testing activities for a modern, cloud-based data platform.Requirements Proven experience as a Test Manager or Test Lead in data transformation or data platform projects Strong understanding of Snowflake and ELT/ETL processes Hands-on experience with Data Vault modeling (Hubs, Links, Satellites) Excellent SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python Practical experience with dbt for testing and transformations Background in the insurance industry, including claims, policy data, and regulatory considerations Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments with modern test automation frameworks Ability to adapt and evolve test strategies to meet changing project and stakeholder needs Strong communication and leadership skills in distributed, remote teams You will lead testing efforts for a Snowflake-based data platform ingesting data from 15 diverse source systems, delivered across four project phases.The platform architecture includes: Staging layer Data Vault modeling (Hubs, Links, Satellites) Consumption layer for analytics and reporting Business intelligence and dashboards are delivered using Power BI and Sigma, supporting downstream business users.Responsibilities Drive the implementation and continuous refinement of the test strategy as the project evolves Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering data ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers Ensure data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across the platform Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Developers, DevOps, Data Analysts, Data Stewards, and business stakeholders to define test requirements and acceptance criteria Manage CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated test execution using GitHub workflows Lead, mentor, and coach the testing team on tools, methodologies, and best practices related to Snowflake and insurance data Maintain clear documentation and test artefacts in Jira and Confluence We Offer Location: 100% Remote Contract type: B2B, long-term (open-ended) Multisport card Private medical care (Lux Med) Recruitment Process HR Interview - 20 min Technical Interview - 30 min Final Interview with the Client - 1h
