Our requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading global IT operations and digital transformation in an industrial environment.
• Proven track record in ERP rollouts, automation, and process standardization.
• Deep expertise in IT security, risk management, and cloud infrastructures (Azure).
• Hands-on, pragmatic leadership style with strong communication skills.
• Financial acumen: controlling, budgeting, and KPI management.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English (C1 level), additional languages (Polish) are an advantage.
• Certifications (ITIL, Azure Architect, Scrum Master, PMI/Prince2, DevOps) welcome.

Your responsibilities

• Lead global IT operations, projects, and digital initiatives across all business units.
• Define and drive the global IT strategy, ensuring process standardization and system harmonization.
• Manage international teams and partners, ensuring performance, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Oversee the GOTEC IT architecture (Azure Hybrid Infrastructure, ERP systems, and custom applications).
• Drive automation, process optimization, and cross-functional digital integration.
• Implement and enforce security policies, incident response, forensic analysis (preparation for TISAX certification).
• Lead global ERP rollouts and the implementation of new sales and calculation applications.
• Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and financial KPIs.
• Act as a senior escalation point for infrastructure, architecture, operations, and security topics.
