API Integration Designer (Apigee, Google Cloud)

Design and implement API management solutions using Apigee on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Create and maintain API proxies, policies, and configurations to ensure security, scalability, and optimal performance.
Collaborate with architects and developers to integrate APIs with backend systems and third-party services.
Define and document API standards, best practices, and governance guidelines to support enterprise integration.
Troubleshoot and optimize API performance while ensuring compliance with established integration patterns.
Support deployment and ongoing monitoring of APIs within cloud environments.

Minimum of three years of practical experience with Apigee, including API proxy development, policies, OAuth, and JWT.
Strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services relevant to API management.
Comprehensive understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and API security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and mutual TLS (mTLS).
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, particularly Git.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.

Knowledge of other API management tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Kong).
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployment environments.
Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven integration approaches.
Professional certifications related to Apigee or Google Cloud Platform.
