Benefity
- Salary: 13,000 – 17,000 PLN gross B2B
- Choice between employment contract (UoP) or B2B
- Direct access to rich research environment
- Real ownership over data processing
- Collaboration with experienced scientists
Technologies we use
Your responsibilities
- Process, clean, and validate eye movement time-series data from clinical trials and research sessions
- Perform rigorous statistical analysis to identify biomarkers and distinguish signal from noise in oculomotor data
- Build and evaluate predictive models for disease classification and progression tracking
- Assess data quality, detect artifacts, and verify whether results are methodologically sound
- Design and implement automated data pipelines to support ongoing clinical and R&D workflows
- Create clear, reproducible data visualizations for both scientific and business audiences
- Collaborate closely with optical engineers, neurologists, and vision scientists to define analytical approaches
- Contribute to scientific documentation and research publications
Our requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data science or quantitative analysis
- Strong foundation in statistics — this is the core of the role: hypothesis testing, regression, time series analysis, distributions, uncertainty quantification
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, statsmodels, matplotlib/seaborn or equivalent)
- Experience building automated data pipelines and maintaining reproducible analytical workflows
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field
- Ability to independently plan, run, and evaluate analyses
- Preference for interpretable, well-justified methods over unnecessary model complexity
- Ability to critically assess whether a method, result, or AI-generated idea makes sense
- High attention to detail, ownership, and a methodical, rigorous approach to data — you double-check your work before sharing it
- Ability to communicate analytical results clearly to non-technical team members
- Fluency in Polish and English
Optional
- Experience with biomedical or time-series data (eye tracking, EEG, ECG, or similar)
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch) — ML is not excluded from the role, but classical statistics comes first
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, or analytical pipelines
- Knowledge of signal processing methods
- Experience working in a regulated or clinical research environment
What we offer
- Salary: [13 ,000 – 17,000 PLN gross gross / net B2B], depending on experience and contract type
- Employment contract (UoP) or B2B — your choice
- Direct access to a rich research environment: published datasets, ongoing clinical trials, and collaboration with scientists who have been building this technology for over a decade
- Real ownership over how data flows through the product — you won't be maintaining someone else's legacy pipeline
- Meaningful work: your models will feed into diagnostic tools used with real patients
- Small, senior team — short feedback loops, no bureaucracy
- On-site in Toruń at Nicolaus Copernicus University
