The ideal candidate will excel in eliciting, documenting, and communicating both functional and non-functional requirements. A strong ability to translate business needs into actionable development tasks, coupled with expertise in IT solutions design, is essential for success in this role.Main ResponsibilitiesThe core duty of this position involves performing IT analysis specific to mortgage solutions, focusing on requirements gathering and documentation.Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for IT applicationsWork hands-on within ongoing application development projects (SDLC)Act as a bridge between:business stakeholdersdevelopment teamsarchitects and other IT analystsTranslate business needs into:user storiesbacklog itemsclear development tasksActively contribute to:IT solution designarchitectural discussionstechnical reviewsCreate and co-create technical and analytical documentation (not only business-level descriptions)Resolve business and functional questions arising during:solution designsoftware developmentimplementation phasesKey RequirementsProven experience as an IT Analyst in application development projectsHands-on experience working in an architectural environmentunderstanding system architecturedependencies between applications and componentsPractical experience with:APIs (e.g. RESTful services)system integrationsActive involvement in creating technical documentationStrong knowledge of modeling techniques:process modeling (BPMN, UML)data and information modelingExperience working in Agile/Scrum teams on software productsAbility to quickly onboard into an existing system and understand complex architecturesNice to HaveExperience with mortgage-related IT systems.Familiarity with agile methodologies.Knowledge of industry regulations pertaining to mortgage solutions
