Measurements Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Mechanics, or a related field., 2+ years of experience in measurements, process engineering, or a related role., Working knowledge of measurement systems and hardware used in manufacturing environments., Understanding of measurement system analysis (MSA, GR&R) or measurement standardization activities., Ability to follow and apply standard work and technical documentation., Strong problem solving skills and willingness to grow as a technical subject matter expert., Effective communication skills in English and ability to work with global teams., Experience supporting equipment, product or technology transfers in manufacturing., Familiarity with fiber optic products or inspection systems., Demonstrated application of measurement science in the fields of fiber optics, surface profiling interferometry, microscopy, optical refractometry and/or other optical or physical measurement disciplines., Working and demonstrated applied knowledge of fiber optic cable assembly measurement equipment related but not limited to: optical attenuation, reflectometry, surface profile interferometry, and video microscopy (end-face inspection)., Scientific curiosity and interest in continuous improvement.
