Onsite Infrastructure and Lab Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Onsite Infrastructure and Lab Technician to support and maintain a large-scale test lab environment. This role is highly hands-on and requires daily interaction with physical systems, hardware components, and test infrastructure.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that systems are operational, properly configured, and ready to support engineering and validation activities. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working directly with hardware and troubleshooting complex system issues in a lab setting.Key ResponsibilitiesLab Infrastructure and System SupportMaintain and support a large-scale DUT (Device Under Test) environment consisting of more than 3,000 physical systems and 9,000 virtual machinesPerform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux and Windows operating systemsProvision and recover virtual machines as required to support testing activitiesSet up, validate, and maintain lab test environments and system configurationsMonitoring and Issue ResolutionMonitor system health using tools such as Grafana, Zabbix, and ELMOPerform log collection and basic analysis across system and application layersRespond to alerts, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate issues when necessaryHands-on Hardware SupportAssemble, rack, cable, and configure servers and workstationsDiagnose and replace faulty components, including central processing units, graphics processing units, memory, storage devices, power supplies, and cooling systemsPerform disk imaging, cloning, and system reconfigurationManage RAID configurations and perform basic storage troubleshootingEnsure proper thermal conditions and physical organization within the labFirmware and System MaintenanceExecute firmware updates and flashing procedures for BIOS, BMC, and related componentsSupport configuration of remote management interfaces such as BMC and iLOAssist with firmware validation and system readiness for testingRequired QualificationsExperience working in a data center, hardware lab, or technical support environmentStrong hands-on experience with computer hardware assembly and troubleshootingBasic to intermediate knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systemsFamiliarity with system monitoring tools or willingness to learnAbility to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced lab environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting large-scale lab or test environmentsFamiliarity with virtualization concepts and toolsBasic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)Experience with remote management interfaces such as iLO, BMC, or IPMIWhat We OfferOpportunity to work in a high-scale, hands-on lab environmentExposure to advanced hardware platforms and system technologiesA collaborative team focused on engineering and validation excellenceCompetitive compensation and benefits
