Senior DocuWare Consultant (f/m/x)

Designing, configuring, and maintaining DocuWare workflows, with a strong focus on finance processes such as invoice processing and approval flows
Building and optimizing document structures, including metadata, index fields, document types, and classification rules
Translating business requirements into secure, compliant, and sustainable DocuWare configurations
Defining and managing user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure compliant document handling
Continuously improving workflow performance, stability, scalability, and user experience
Acting as a DocuWare subject‑matter expert, advising on best practices and solution design
Collaborating with business stakeholders and enabling internal teams through documentation and structured knowledge transfer

At least 5 years of proven hands‑on experience with DocuWare, including end‑to‑end workflow design and deployment using Workflow Designer
Strong understanding of enterprise‑grade ECM/DMS solutions, audit‑compliant archiving, retention, and compliance requirements
Solid business process knowledge, particularly in Finance or Accounting; experience with HR or Procurement is an advantage
Senior, consultative mindset with the ability to guide stakeholders, explain solutions, and constructively challenge requirements
Highly independent, structured, and pragmatic professional with fluent English communication skills (C1)

Experience with DocuWare REST API and system integrations, particularly with ERP, Finance, or HR platforms in cloud‑based (SaaS) environments
German language skills are a plus due to occasional collaboration and business travel to Germany
